From 1984 until 1996 Simon Gilbert toured the country with his own musical company, Spun Gold Productions, performing a huge number of shows to major theatres and concert halls. In 1998 he won a contract with Pegasus Recording Company to record seven albums across the entire spectrum of popular song, including hits from The Musicals, a superb Cole Porter and Irving Berlin duets album, The Best From The World of Opera - and his two Andrew Lloyd Webber albums are selling excellently across the USA as well as the home market. From his hectically busy touring days, he have assembled a superb team of artistes, and can now offer almost everything that you might require across the spectrum of entertainment; from international singers for Opera and Concert Classics, and The Broadway Musicals, to jazz ensembles and big bands; from the very best of Country and Western, through comedians and magic acts, to bagpipers for Rabbie Burns Night and the world's best Michael Jackson impersonator (when available) |
